Summary
This study aimed to better understand bone-related connective tissue disorders like osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease). It enrolled 180 people with suspected conditions and their family members for evaluation using standard tests like exams, X-rays, and blood draws. The main goals were to gather knowledge, train physicians, and identify potential participants for future research, not to test new treatments.
