Summary
This study aims to understand how weight loss surgery affects bone health in postmenopausal women. Researchers will compare two different surgical methods (RYGB and SG) and examine how diabetes status influences bone changes. The study will measure bone marrow fat and explore factors like blood sugar control, hormones, and body composition that might explain bone loss after surgery.
