Summary
This study compares two antibiotic treatments for children with bone and joint infections. One group gets antibiotics only by mouth, while the other starts with IV antibiotics for a few days then switches to oral. The goal is to see if the all-oral approach works just as well for full recovery at 3 months. About 285 children aged 1 to 18 are participating across hospitals in Australia and New Zealand.
