New Clot-Sucking device shows promise for DVT patients

Summary

This study tests a device called the Indigo Aspiration system that suctions out blood clots in people with deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in the leg. About 229 participants with clots in the large veins of the pelvis or thigh will be treated. The goal is to see if the device safely removes most of the clot and reduces the risk of serious problems like bleeding or new clots.
