NCT ID NCT07203261

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This pilot study will enroll 65 people with HIV to see if two simple body shape calculations (BRI and ABSI) can accurately estimate total body fat and hidden belly fat. Participants will have their waist, height, and weight measured, plus advanced body fat scans. The goal is to find easier ways to monitor fat changes that may affect health in people living with HIV.
