NCT ID NCT07203261

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This pilot study will enroll 65 people with HIV to see if two simple body shape calculations (BRI and ABSI) can accurately estimate total body fat and dangerous visceral fat. Participants will have their waist, height, and weight measured, plus undergo ultrasound and body composition scans. The goal is to find a cheap, easy way to assess fat distribution in this population without expensive equipment.
