First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study will check if two simple body measurements—the Body Roundness Index and A Body Shape Index—can accurately predict body fat and hidden belly fat in people living with HIV. Researchers will enroll 65 adults with HIV who have been on the same HIV medications for at least 6 months. Participants will have their waist, height, and weight measured, plus get ultrasound and body composition scans to compare the methods.
