Simple tape measure may help track dangerous fat in HIV patients

NCT ID NCT07203261

Summary

This study aims to see if two simple body measurements—the Body Roundness Index and A Body Shape Index—can accurately estimate body fat and dangerous belly fat in people living with HIV. Researchers will compare these quick measurements to more complex tests in 65 participants. The goal is to find better, easier ways to monitor health risks linked to weight gain from HIV medications.
