NCT ID NCT06728722

First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study will use ultrasound to track changes in muscle, fat, and fluid levels in critically ill pregnant and gynecological patients. Researchers want to see if these body changes are linked to serious outcomes like death, need for a breathing machine, or longer ICU stays. About 121 women will take part, and the goal is to find a simple, radiation-free way to monitor these patients at the bedside.
