Summary
This study tested whether learning to play the board games Go or Chess could help improve thinking skills in people with early memory problems. 80 participants were assigned to learn one game, both games, or be in a control group for 12 weeks. Researchers measured changes in memory, attention, quality of life, and mood to see if playing these games made a difference.
