First human tests: drug maker checks new Medicine's safety and heart impact
NCT ID NCT06846866
Summary
This early-stage study aimed to check the basic safety and how the body processes the experimental drug BMS-986419. It involved 74 healthy volunteers and had two main parts: first, to see what side effects might occur and how the drug moves through the body, and second, to carefully test if the drug affects the heart's electrical rhythm. The goal was to gather initial safety data before testing in people with a disease.
