First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether injecting a concentrated bone marrow product (BMAC) during jaw joint surgery reduces pain and joint damage better than standard steroid injections. About 20 adults with long-lasting TMJ pain will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments and followed for 6 months with questionnaires and MRIs. The goal is to see if BMAC can control disease better than current care.
