NCT ID NCT07536399
First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether injecting a concentrated sample of a patient's own bone marrow (BMAC) during jaw joint surgery can reduce pain and joint damage better than the usual steroid injection. About 20 adults with long-lasting jaw pain that hasn't improved with standard care will be randomly assigned to receive either BMAC or steroids. Researchers will track pain, jaw function, and MRI changes over 6 months.
