Blue light shines on pain relief for broken ribs
NCT ID NCT06626334
Summary
This study is testing whether bright blue light therapy can help reduce pain and inflammation in adults hospitalized with painful rib fractures. Researchers will compare blue light to white light and normal hospital lighting, while all participants also receive standard pain treatments. The goal is to see if this simple light exposure makes breathing less painful and helps people recover faster.
