New device aims to make breast reconstruction safer
NCT ID NCT07340632
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device called BLOOM43, which is used to prepare breast tissue the night before reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy for breast cancer. The main goal is to check if the device is safe and easy for patients to use. Researchers will also see if using the device helps reduce a common complication called skin flap necrosis.
