Summary
This study aims to find the safest blood thinner approach for patients who have undergone a minimally invasive heart valve repair procedure. Researchers will compare different medication strategies in over 1,000 patients to determine which approach best balances the risk of bleeding complications against the risk of stroke and other blood clot events. The goal is to establish clear treatment guidelines for this common heart condition.
