NCT ID NCT05782270
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at people who had heart bypass surgery combined with a procedure to clean out a clogged artery (endarterectomy). After such surgery, there is a higher risk of the new bypass getting blocked. The trial compares two approaches: standard dual antiplatelet therapy versus adding warfarin, an older blood thinner. About 202 adults will be followed to see which combination keeps the bypass open longer and causes fewer serious heart problems or bleeding events.
