Heart surgery blood thinner trial seeks to prevent graft failures
NCT ID NCT05782270
Summary
This study aims to find the best blood-thinning medication combination for patients who have undergone a complex heart bypass surgery called coronary endarterectomy combined with CABG. Researchers will compare two drug regimens to see which one better keeps the new bypass grafts open and reduces the risk of serious heart or stroke events. The trial involves 202 adult patients with severe, widespread coronary artery disease who are not at high risk of bleeding.
