Looking back: do blood thinners make surgery riskier?

NCT ID NCT07358416

Summary

This study looks back at the medical records of 500 patients who had major artery surgery. Researchers want to understand if taking common blood-thinning medications before surgery is linked to a higher risk of serious bleeding or dangerous blood clots. The goal is to gather knowledge to help doctors make safer medication decisions for future patients.
