Blood thinner showdown: 1 month vs 6 months after leg procedures

NCT ID NCT07076082

Summary

This study aims to find the best length of time for patients to take two blood thinners after having a procedure to open blocked leg arteries. Researchers want to see if taking the medications for six months instead of one month keeps arteries open better without causing more bleeding problems. The trial will follow 350 patients with peripheral artery disease for one year after their procedure.
