Simple blood test could warn doctors when ovarian cancer treatment stops working

NCT ID NCT06588322

Summary

This study is testing whether a blood test can detect early signs that a specific ovarian cancer treatment is becoming less effective. Researchers will collect blood samples from 130 patients with BRCA-mutated ovarian cancer who are receiving standard maintenance therapy. The goal is to see if changes in tumor DNA in the blood can predict cancer progression months before it shows up on scans, allowing for earlier treatment adjustments.
