New blood test could spot hidden lung cancer before scans do
NCT ID NCT07257471
Summary
This study is testing a new blood test to see if it can find tiny amounts of leftover cancer cells after a minimally invasive lung tumor treatment. Researchers will follow 30 patients who cannot have surgery, taking blood samples for two years to see if the test can predict cancer recurrence earlier than standard scans. The goal is to better identify patients at high risk of the cancer coming back, which could help guide their follow-up care.
