Simple blood test could flag hidden artery disease in dialysis patients
NCT ID NCT07179211
Summary
This study aims to see if a simple blood test result, called the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), can predict which kidney dialysis patients have or are at risk for peripheral artery disease (PAD). Researchers will study 120 adult patients on regular dialysis to check for this link. The goal is to find a low-cost way to identify patients needing closer monitoring or earlier treatment for artery problems.
