Blood test could spare stomach cancer patients from unnecessary chemo
NCT ID NCT07257380
Summary
This study is testing a new approach for treating stomach cancer. After surgery, a blood test will check for tiny traces of leftover cancer. The goal is to see if patients with a clean blood test can safely skip the usual harsh chemotherapy, avoiding its severe side effects, without hurting their long-term survival. The study will enroll 90 patients with advanced stomach cancer.
