Blood test could spare cancer patients from harsh chemo
NCT ID NCT06446557
Summary
This study is testing if a blood test that measures tumor DNA can help doctors make better treatment decisions for people with advanced colon cancer that has spread. About 408 participants will be randomly assigned to either have their treatment adjusted based on the blood test results or to receive standard care. The main goal is to see if using the blood test to guide treatment leads to longer survival with a better quality of life.
