Simple blood test could replace scans for spotting lung cancer

NCT ID NCT06838806

Summary

This study is testing a new blood test called Nu.Q to see if it can accurately tell whether lung nodules found on a CT scan are benign or cancerous. Researchers will enroll 500 adults in Taiwan who have a lung nodule that needs a biopsy or surgery. They will compare the blood test results to the standard diagnosis from tissue samples to see if the test is reliable.
