First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study aims to create a blood test that can detect colorectal cancer and advanced polyps early by combining molecular markers with personal risk factors using artificial intelligence. About 510 adults undergoing colonoscopy or surgery will provide blood samples to help build and validate the test. If successful, this could offer a less invasive screening option and catch the disease sooner.
