Blood test could reveal hidden cancer spread, changing treatment options

NCT ID NCT07224724

Summary

This study aims to create a blood test that can detect when colorectal cancer has spread beyond the liver to other body parts. Researchers will analyze tiny particles in the blood using advanced computer analysis to identify hidden cancer spread that current scans might miss. The goal is to help doctors make better treatment decisions about who might benefit from potentially curative surgery.
