Simple blood test could spare colon cancer patients unnecessary chemo
NCT ID NCT06654622
Summary
This study tested a new blood test designed to help doctors decide which colon cancer patients need chemotherapy after surgery. The test looks for tiny signs of leftover cancer cells to identify patients at high risk of the cancer coming back. The goal is to give chemotherapy only to those who truly need it, sparing others from side effects while still catching recurrences early.
