New blood test aims to spot colon cancer early

Summary
This study is collecting blood samples to develop and test a new blood test for detecting colorectal cancer and advanced precancerous growths. It will enroll 1300 US adults aged 45-84, including people scheduled for colon cancer surgery and people getting routine colonoscopies. The goal is to see if the test can accurately find cancer by looking for tumor DNA in the blood.
