Scientists hunt for blood clues to Chemo's painful side effect
NCT ID NCT07427537
Summary
This study aims to discover if tiny molecules in the blood can predict who will develop nerve damage from chemotherapy. Researchers will follow 90 patients with lung or colon cancer receiving specific drugs known to cause this side effect. The goal is to find a blood test that could one day help doctors prevent or better manage this painful complication.
