First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at how stretching veins triggers a nerve reflex that affects blood pressure. Researchers will measure nerve activity and vein size in 18 healthy adults aged 21-35, using an IV anti-inflammatory drug to see if it changes the reflex. No treatment is tested; the goal is to better understand how the body controls circulation.
