Summary
This University of Alberta study aims to understand why healthy men and women regulate blood pressure differently. Researchers will measure how blood vessels in the forearm respond to small doses of blood pressure medications and record nerve activity using tiny needles. The findings could help explain sex differences in cardiovascular health and disease risk.
