Simpler blood pressure check may match High-Tech method in surgery

NCT ID NCT05792436

Summary

This study tested if checking blood pressure every minute with a standard arm cuff is as good as using a continuous, more invasive monitor at preventing low blood pressure when patients are put under anesthesia. It involved 258 adults having non-heart surgery. The goal was to see if the simpler, less invasive method could be a safe and effective alternative for many patients.
