Dialysis patients get new hope for blood pressure control

Summary

This study tests whether a type of water pill (thiazide diuretic) can lower blood pressure in people on peritoneal dialysis who have high blood pressure. About 40 participants will take the medication and have their blood pressure, weight, and body fluid levels monitored. The goal is to find a safe and effective way to manage hypertension in this group.
