Blood pressure boost during stroke surgery could save brain function

NCT ID NCT05645861

Summary

This study is testing whether keeping blood pressure higher during emergency stroke surgery leads to better recovery. Researchers are comparing two different blood pressure targets in 550 stroke patients undergoing clot removal. The goal is to determine if higher pressure improves blood flow to the brain and reduces long-term disability.
