This study looked at whether a special blood management plan could lower the number of blood transfusions needed when women have heavy bleeding after childbirth. The plan included checking for anemia, giving iron, and controlling bleeding during delivery. Researchers compared 397 patients before and after the plan was put in place to see if it helped.
