Gentle 'Blood Flow' training aims to boost strength in aging women

NCT ID NCT07155967

Summary

This study is testing a gentler form of strength training for older women. It uses a technique called blood flow restriction (BFR) during low-intensity leg exercises to see if it can safely improve muscle strength and function. Researchers will compare this method to standard low-intensity training in 32 women aged 60 and older.
