Tourniquet training tested to boost knee recovery

NCT ID NCT04436523

Summary

This study tested if adding blood flow restriction training to standard physical therapy helps people recover better after knee cartilage (meniscus) repair surgery. It compared two groups of patients: one using a special cuff during exercises and one using a regular cuff. The main goal was to see if the new method improved leg strength and muscle size during the 12-week recovery period.
