Could a blood pressure cuff speed up leg injury recovery?

NCT ID NCT04149977

Summary

This study is testing whether a special therapy that restricts blood flow during exercise helps people with leg injuries recover faster. Researchers will work with 128 adults who have injuries like quadriceps or patella tendon tears. They'll compare standard physical therapy to therapy done while wearing an inflatable cuff on the leg to see if it improves muscle strength and size.
