New rehab technique aims to speed achilles recovery
NCT ID NCT04104126
Summary
This study is testing whether adding blood flow restriction therapy to standard physical therapy helps people recover from Achilles tendon injuries. Researchers will work with 57 adults to see if this approach improves leg strength and reduces pain during rehabilitation. The therapy involves wearing a special cuff that briefly limits blood flow while doing gentle exercises.
