NCT ID NCT07538037

First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether low-intensity blood flow restriction training (LI-BFRT) can improve leg strength and kicking performance in taekwondo athletes. LI-BFRT involves partially restricting blood flow to muscles during exercise, which may boost performance with lighter training loads. The study will include 18 national-level taekwondo athletes aged 16-25 who are free from recent leg injuries. Results will help understand if this approach is effective for enhancing athletic performance.
