Can tightening blood flow ease Post-Birth pelvic pain?

NCT ID NCT07292051

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a blood flow restriction technique to core stability exercises can reduce pelvic girdle pain in women 3 to 12 months after giving birth. Sixty-six women aged 20-35 with pelvic pain will be split into two groups: one doing core exercises alone, the other doing the same exercises with blood flow restriction. The main goal is to see if the added technique lowers pain intensity and improves daily function.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a new, non-drug way to reduce pelvic pain and disability after childbirth.
