New study: simple band may supercharge knee rehab
NCT ID NCT07283237
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a blood flow restriction (BFR) band to targeted exercises helps adults with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis and bow-legged alignment feel less pain and move better. About 80 adults aged 30-55 will be randomly assigned to do exercises alone or with a BFR cuff on the thigh. Researchers will track knee function, pain, and quality of life for up to 12 months to see if the band makes a difference.
