NCT ID NCT06637124

First seen May 12, 2026 ยท Last updated May 12, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether using a blood pressure cuff during low-weight leg exercises (blood flow restriction) can reduce pain and improve strength and mobility in people with knee osteoarthritis. 75 adults aged 40-65 with moderate knee arthritis will do 16 supervised sessions over 8 weeks. The goal is to see if this approach works as well as or better than traditional moderate-intensity strength training.
