New hope for teens with flatfoot: blood flow restriction training tested
NCT ID NCT07343752
First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding blood flow restriction (BFR) training to standard physical therapy can improve pain, movement, and function in adolescents with spasmodic flatfoot. Forty teens who haven't improved with initial treatment will be randomly assigned to receive either standard PT or PT plus BFR. The goal is to see if BFR helps reduce pain and improve foot and ankle function better than PT alone.
