First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using blood flow restriction (BFR) after intense leg exercise helps muscles recover faster. About 80 healthy adults will do hard leg workouts, then some will use BFR while others rest normally. Researchers will measure muscle power, soreness, and stiffness to see if BFR makes a difference.
