First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at whether slowing blood flow to the legs during exercise changes how many stem cells enter the bloodstream. Fifteen healthy adults aged 18-45 will do leg exercises with a special tourniquet system. Blood samples are taken before and after exercise to measure stem cell levels. The goal is to understand the body's response, not to treat any disease.
