Scientists probe hidden body signals in knee rehab
NCT ID NCT05012982
Summary
This study aims to understand how a specific rehab technique called blood flow restriction training affects the body's immune cells and metabolism in people recovering from ACL knee surgery. Researchers will measure changes in blood chemicals and cell activity in 20 healthy adults during two different training sessions. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how this training method works at a cellular level, not to directly improve symptoms or cure the injury.
