Blood filtering tested as new hope for severe stroke patients

NCT ID NCT07127484

Summary

This study is testing if a blood filtering treatment, called hemoadsorption, can help people who have just had a severe stroke. It will compare standard stroke care alone to standard care plus the blood filtering treatment. The main goal is to see if adding this treatment helps more patients avoid severe disability 90 days after their stroke.
