Summary
This study tested whether filtering a patient's blood to remove certain antibodies could reduce severe fatigue in people with Long COVID. Researchers compared the real blood filtering procedure against a sham (fake) treatment in 63 carefully selected patients. The goal was to see if this approach could ease the debilitating tiredness that often persists after COVID-19 infection.
